Meet our Team

Millie - Treatment Coordinator
Millie is our treatment coordinator.  She joined our office in November of 2016 as our scheduling coordinator.  Prior to working with Pristera Orthodontics, she provided customer service at a salon and spa for eight years, but her true passion was to work in the dental field.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew as well as cheering on her boyfriend at his motocross races with their dog Leo. She loves being around people and making them laugh.  Millie enjoys getting to know our patients and family members throughout their care.

Amanda - Lead Orthodontic Assistant
Amanda is our lead orthodontic assistant.  In the past, she had a total of 10 years of orthodontic treatment, between phase one and phase two, all by the age of 20.  This led her to seek a career in dentistry, with her soul intent of being an orthodontic assistant.  She graduated PIMA Medical Institute with honors for dental assisting.  She has been an assistant since 2015, and joined our office in 2016.  Her role in the office is to make sure the clinic runs smoothly, train new assistants, and implement or modify standard operating procedure.  She enjoys seeing our patients grow, and the transformation of their new smiles. One of her personal goals is to make patients and our team laugh daily; you could say she is the jokester of the office.  Outside of the office, Amanda's passion is her animals.  She has may pets; three dogs, four cats, and two horses.  She shares her animal chores with her husband, Uriah, on their 10 acre property.  When she has time to spare, she enjoys spending time with her husband, training her young horse, horseback riding, and having game nights with friends.  A quote she lives by is "Without struggle, there is no strength."-Unknown.

Desai - Financial Coordinator and Orthodontic assistant
Desi was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She grew up playing tennis and watching sports such as football and basketball. She said the best things about growing up in Hawaii are the beautiful beaches, warm weather, excellent food, and friendly locals . She graduated from the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus in children development. She started off in the workforce in 2012 with Pediatric dentistry before continuing with General and Orthodontics a few years later. She moved to Washington and joined our team in June of 2019.  So far, she is enjoying the different seasons and experiencing the PNW lifestyle. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, hiking, and trying different types of food from various cultures. She loves working at Pristera Orthdontics because of her co-workers and the constant interactions with patients and parents.
